timano 2009-10-31 . chapter 15Nyssa was one of my favorite characters from both versions of Doctor Who (the 1963-89 and 2005-present), so I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story! (I kind of wish you hadn't had to include Tegan--I've never liked her much--but her role was small enough I didn't mind too much.) I enjoyed your development of Nyssa's character and exploration of a possible sequence not chosen by the producers. 10 out of 10 stars! |
Randomizer 2009-09-29 . chapter 15Still good. You've developed the Castellan into a very intriguing character. |
TimeLadyofthePings 2009-08-07 . chapter 14So Nyssa is now a citizen of another doomed planet? |
TimeLadyofthePings 2009-08-07 . chapter 13You really think the Doctor wouldn't take Nyssa and her child back to her child's father? |
Teish 2009-07-06 . chapter 11I KNEW IT! I just KNEW it! Still loving the story, and I'm glad to hear of the upcoming rewrite of the Five Doctors. One of my first thoughts early on in this story was that it's too bad that the Castellan dies in that episode. :-) Still anxious for the next chapter! |
TimeLadyofthePings 2009-07-03 . chapter 11I'd like to see how this is going to end up. :o) |
Laura Harkness 2009-07-02 . chapter 10this is fascinating and intriguing. very well written and makes for a really good time. i've enjoyed it tremendously. your characters are spot on and your grammar is good (for which i am grateful). this is excellent. i love the intelligent way you end your chapters. really, really good (sorry i'm repeating myself, i'll stop now). |
Teish 2009-07-01 . chapter 10This story remains intriguing. I'm glad that you introduced Leela, and I'm curious about what is going on behind the scenes with the Doctor. I like how you are developing the relationship dynamic here. Looking forward to more of the story soon, I hope! |
TimeLadyofthePings 2009-06-23 . chapter 8Never knew Nyssa had it in her! :o) Sucessfully seducing a Time Lord and the castellan at that! GO! NYSSA!
As for the "Invasion of Time" episode I have the novelization of it and I could look and see if the Castellan had a name. |
Deadeye 86 2009-06-19 . chapter 1I really enjoy how you've fleshed out Nyssa's character here and made her reactions so believable. It's a bit unlikely that the Castellan would be so nice to her so soon after the marriage though... and wouldn't she try harder to rescue some people of Traken? It must suck knowing you're the last of your race.
Interesting how you've gone with the Loom background. I think it's not official canon, but I do like the idea that with the absense of children in the main Citadel the place is lifeless and formal as a result.
Do you think Nyssa will meet up with Leela as I think that would be a very interesting contrast.
Thanks very much for this story - there's not enough Classic Who stories out there. I'm looking foward to the next chapter. |
Masked Reviewer 2009-06-18 . chapter 6I don't think I've ever seen a story where someone made the Castellan into a real character rather than just background. This is pretty interesting and I hope you complete it. I also like the characterisation of Nyssa. |
Teish 2009-06-11 . chapter 6One of my favorite episodes! I do enjoy reading your take on it. :-) Personally, I never thought that the Castellan was such a bad guy. ;-) Post another chapter soon! |
TimeLadyofthePings 2009-06-10 . chapter 6This had tears in my eyes and it also gave me another view of the Castellan I though I'd never see. I also like how you've made Nyssa into a strong person. |
TimeLadyofthePings 2009-06-05 . chapter 2Poor sweet Nyssa! I know what Time Lord I would have rather seen her bonded to (of her own free will of course)! |
