Nyssa was one of my favorite characters from both versions of Doctor Who (the 1963-89 and 2005-present), so I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story! (I kind of wish you hadn't had to include Tegan--I've never liked her much--but her role was small enough I didn't mind too much.) I enjoyed your development of Nyssa's character and exploration of a possible sequence not chosen by the producers. 10 out of 10 stars!

I KNEW IT! I just KNEW it! Still loving the story, and I'm glad to hear of the upcoming rewrite of the Five Doctors. One of my first thoughts early on in this story was that it's too bad that the Castellan dies in that episode. :-) Still anxious for the next chapter!

this is fascinating and intriguing. very well written and makes for a really good time. i've enjoyed it tremendously. your characters are spot on and your grammar is good (for which i am grateful). this is excellent. i love the intelligent way you end your chapters. really, really good (sorry i'm repeating myself, i'll stop now).

This story remains intriguing. I'm glad that you introduced Leela, and I'm curious about what is going on behind the scenes with the Doctor. I like how you are developing the relationship dynamic here. Looking forward to more of the story soon, I hope!

As for the "Invasion of Time" episode I have the novelization of it and I could look and see if the Castellan had a name.

I really enjoy how you've fleshed out Nyssa's character here and made her reactions so believable. It's a bit unlikely that the Castellan would be so nice to her so soon after the marriage though... and wouldn't she try harder to rescue some people of Traken? It must suck knowing you're the last of your race.

Interesting how you've gone with the Loom background. I think it's not official canon, but I do like the idea that with the absense of children in the main Citadel the place is lifeless and formal as a result.

Do you think Nyssa will meet up with Leela as I think that would be a very interesting contrast.

I don't think I've ever seen a story where someone made the Castellan into a real character rather than just background. This is pretty interesting and I hope you complete it. I also like the characterisation of Nyssa.

This had tears in my eyes and it also gave me another view of the Castellan I though I'd never see. I also like how you've made Nyssa into a strong person.
