I LOVED that story! I really like anything to do with that time period. You write it so that the reader can "see" what's happening. The whole time I was reading I could "see" what was going on and "hear" Phineas' and Jeffreys's voices. :)

I'd heard of Sybil but I didn't know that she rode near 40 miles in the pitch black night. She was only 16...as old as I am. Now she was the type of girl that was a "contributor to the cause." :) God Bless America! <3

That was some good cover that Sybil's father sent them to trail her. I could see that he father would want her to be safe. Good thing that she is fast and knows the woods to be able to get away from the 'woodsie's'.

OH NO!! :O I'm not liking these woods people one bit. Can't tell see that trouble's brewing!! Hopefully Sybil can fight 'em off for a while longer so that she might be able to get away. Good to see that she had already hit the area that Bogg and Jeff landed in, so it helps in locating her faster.

Wow - talk about a spooky way to make a landing. Yup that would give me the heebie-jeebies too. Certainly seems like something major happened for Sybil to just disappear like that. Hopefully the boys will be able to head off the trouble or assist in making sure she gets her job done!!

Ah, the wonderful Mrs. Bogg touch: An obscure historical figure with a major historical impact! I love these! And since she *is* an obscure figure, Jeffrey wouldn't be too likely to know about her.
