pen-Aine 2009-08-02 . chapter 1Wow! this is the beginning of a masterpiece. It is just that good. And if you don't continue it, then it is the masterpiece. Everything - the reactions, the emotions, the settings, the planning, are so very BRILLIANT! So realistic to the situation, and extremely well written. I don't know what it is about your writing, but something just draws me towards your stuff. Always. You really have outdone yourself. I really want to say more, but don't what what else to say. I've already said just how Great it is.
I do hope you will update soon! But in the meantime, good luck with your studies.

Secret Symphony 2009-07-26 . chapter 1Brilliant. Just brilliant.
The idea of Ed being displaced into another world like this is neat on its own. It was your writing that really grabbed and entranced me. Your detail and characterization are amazing. It's like you went there, found Ed and Al, and stalked them the entire time. I mean, really, considering the circumstances, they are just perfect.
Also, the pure not-everything-is-as-it-seems feeling that Ed gets really made it hard to pry away from the screen for any length of time. It was just so freaking intriguing. And Maes. I love it, even if he's not actually the nicest guy ever. There's obviousy something not quite right, and Ed (and everyone and their goldfish reading this) are aching to figure it out.
Seriously, please continue this. This chapter was insanely long... Though I was sad to see it end, so I won't ask you to rush, but update someday soon. I'm looking forward to one helluva story! |
deranged black kitten of doom 2009-07-11 . chapter 1This story is the most epic FMA story I've ever read in the history of epicness!! (if that makes any sense) Holy crap, I loved it, and I can't believe that it's this long and there's still more to be told. Your descriptions of this crazy world are phenomenal. The whole thing was very enjoyable to read and I really REALLY hope you're going to continue on with this. I can't wait to see what'll happen next and find out just why Ed's world seems to have vanished. Looking forward to your next update! |
Legendary Chimera 2009-06-08 . chapter 1Congrats on the wins! You deserved it. This fic kinda makes me think of a Dr. Suess/The Jetsons world. I think what intrigues me the most is the description of the shape-shifting architecture, skippers, holos and all the other crazy tech you've come up with. The Ed angst is wonderful and what you've done with Alfonse is interesting to say the least. It took me two days to read this and let me tell you I had some crazy dreams about the spacially displaced. I love that term, and I love your fics. Keep up the good work! |
Griselda Banks 2009-06-06 . chapter 1This. Is. Amazing.
Seriously, this is one of the best FMA fics I've ever read, and this is only the beginning, so it can only get better. It's such a different idea, to have Ed transported to a futuristic world where tons of other people from other dimensions get put. Not only that, but this futuristic world is so WEIRD and different; it really feels like a three-dimensional setting, and makes the readers feel just as displaced as Ed does. As if that wasn't enough, you've got Ed and even Alfons down pat, and their interactions are amazing. I love the way you've handled Ed trying to cope with finding himself in such a weird world, where so many people look like people in Amestris. Also, the story is just so engrossing; I couldn't stop reading to find out what new weird things would crop up, and what Ed was going to do next to try to get back to his world.
The only problem I could see was that whenever you mentioned the other people who'd been displaced from their dimensions, you would say 'the ', with just a blank rather than a word to refer to them.
I'm definitely keeping my eye on this! You have an amazing style. |
hyperdude 2009-06-05 . chapter 1Th is is pure genius. No really. There are so many interesting things, the food synthesizers, the dimension-ripping and hyperdrive, it's just so...*_*
And the interaction is gold. Loved the way you tackled how Edward dealt with his new surroundings. I really hope there's more coming, because this is too great just to end here. |
Mistress-of-Misery 2009-06-05 . chapter 1Let me get my fangirling out of the way first:
ADSLJFADSKLJFLSF OMG THAT WAS AMAZING.
*ahem*
This world you've made up is really detailed, and frankly fascinating. It's such a strange thought to think of Ed transported to a futuristic world, and you did a really good job writing his reactions. Your characterization is impeccable as always. >D Anime Ed's angstiness never really appealed to me, but damn, since it spawned this fic, I have nothing to complain about.
It appears that the Administration is behind some kind of PLOT. *gasp* Are you ever going to continue this fic? I know you're working on Mirrorworld as well as real-life stuff, but it would be great if you could continue this story too.
Congrats on doing so well in the contest! You totally deserved it. =] |
