I ended up on your profile page simply because you are one of Qwi-Xux’s favorite authors, and because I love and admire her writing so much, I figured that I should probably check out your stories as well. I’m glad that I did too, because this story is wonderful. It’s a bit of an odd AU, I have to admit, but I think that’s part of what makes it so much fun to read. I just love the whole idea that Cloud was already falling in love with Tifa before he had even met her, just because of the little things that Denzel and Marlene were telling him about her. The way you wrote the two of them finally meeting and how you added the bits in italics as Cloud was realizing why this must have been her was the best part, it was done beautifully. You’re an amazing writer; I can’t believe even with all of the Cloud/Tifa stories that I’ve written and read that I haven’t stumbled across your stories before. I can’t wait to go check the rest of them out. ;)

hmm... first time i've ever actually read a cloud/tifa fic that is AU and honestly, it's really good. I think had you implemented this idea in your entirely own made up fantasy, it would be one of the best romance stories ever. it's just so unique, cause like now a days, romance movies are always like, boy loves girl, girl loves boy, a bit of tragedy or sadness thrown in and before you know it, happily ever after.

it's always nice to read a story that shows love in a different sort of way. great job.

I don't usually read AUs, but my friend recommended this one to me, and I must say, it was so unique and sweet. The idea of them meeting that way was very different, and it's a good thing Marlene talked so much about Cloud, or Tifa would probably have been reaching for the pepper spray, LOL. I absolutely loved reading this story. It had me guessing all the way through and for a little while I thought Tifa had died and Cloud was just remembering. But then it finally came together at the end and I realized they didn't even know each other except from what Marlene told them.

I am so confused. I've read this several x's, and I think I'm mentally wanting the story to go one way and that's blinding me to the way you wrote it to go. I know you are skillfull; "Hero of the Universe" is one of my favorite stories and it also is a story that needs close attention paid to it, so I will rest me brain and have a go later... oh, I thought I'd lost you there for a while. Your stories are always so warm and soft and deep and sweet and rich and I stumbled across them after you'd already written them. I thought you'd stopped writing and then I found this in my alert box and I'm so, so glad you're still here. And this story was just absolutely everything I've learned to expect from you, sweet and deep and rich and warm and soft to my soul (and boy did I need that today). I love the way you let us guess our way through this, so that we're slowly figuring out its a bit of an AU but its kind of fun to discover it and try to figure out what you've change. I love Marlene and I love Denzel (such a pre-teen). I love the way Cloud loves the children and his interaction with Marlene in particular. He's absolutely Cloud even in this AU universe and its soft and sweet and strong and steady. I love the restlessness inside of him and the way he tries to bleed it out and the way it doesn't work and he's left restless. And I love and adore the way you bring Tifa and Cloud together, the way its the most natural thing in the world and the sweetest surprise at the same time. Cloud, being Cloud and awkwardly phrasing things and Tifa, being Tifa and guarded and yet vulnerable to him, and understanding him anyway. The way they need to be together even if they know it doesn't make sense but it does make sense to them. Falling in love with each other through a little girl's eyes. This was pure liquid gold and I love it, love it, love it. thanks you many times over, it was just what I needed today.
