Oh, this is just so dang sad!

My heart is breaking for sweet Bella! And it even cracked a little for Edward and the sorrowful loss of his life "before.
This story is...um...DEEP.
I have to keep going back to reread parts to figure out who is "talking." This story makes me a tad uncomfortable because I really feel for the dear characters who have lost so much! It seems to be so dark and poor Bella is so unhappy. I must admit, that I don't usually keep with stories that are so pessimistic, but for some reason I just can't stop reading Ars.

The sun hurts him because it is the gold that he never placed on her finger.

He has become an incubus (perhaps even died?) because she breached his resistance to the underside of his love. Took his seed from him unhallowed.

And now the debt must be repaid ... in grief and sorrow, for as he takes more and more of her life, he also recollects his own, and the love that he bore for her.
Holy cow this is an amazing story. I wish you had written it as an original. It stands completely on its own, doesn't need our allegiance to the characters of Edward and Bella et al. I would have paid money to read this. Honest.
