I am intrigued...Javert seems sort of OOC to me. Is that the way you meant him to be?

About your title, you get an 'A' for effort. However 'Aimer' is a verb that means 'to like/to love', so your title literally translates 'To Love the Misery'... Which actually kind of works, but not in the way you apparently meant it too. This is why you don't trust online translators too much. ^^ Hahah.

'Love, Misery' would translate in French to 'Amour, Misere'(with the accent, of course). Though... I think there should be an 'and' between love and misery, which is simply 'et' in French.

It seems like an interesting story, but I think the romance part is coming on too fast and obvious. Methinks a subtler and slower approach would have been more realistic for Javert.
