This was a very sad chapter. I felt so sorry for Severus and I hope that's he's able to heal, on both the inside and the outside. Of course with Light Arrow watching him hopefully it will be harder for him to hurt himself. Doc Martens seems like a nice man and a good doctor. I hope we get to see more of him.

I hope you won't haveHarry instanrly over whatever problem it is he has with horses, if he's really afraid of them, like it seemed, please don't change it just because it's a 'special chosen' horse. Otherwise, I find your story perfect.

Oh, Severus, doing the things you tell the boys not to do. Poor guy, it kills him to break down in front of someone.

Truly another brilliant chapter! It seems that no matter what age a person is we seem to often regress sometimes when dealing with some issues/or problems. This is what Severus seems to be doing, asserting that he's an adult and not wanting to talk about things that bother him. Which is undoubtably a result of how Severus grew-up as a child even before he joined slytherin house at hogwarts which only reinforced this self-belief of hiding/masking ones feelings. Despite giving clear signs that he doesn't want to talk about his problems, the fact that Severus stayed with Doc Martin and even more so at the camp suggests he does want help. I know some one argue he's only staying to help the boys...but I feel that after so long hiding behind his mask as a spy to MoldyShorts he's loss touch with himself. Also Severus seems to desperate want/and need someone else to take care of him and the boys, so that he doesn't have to share the burden alone.

Harry and Draco are ok,but please dont take too long to get the story line back to Severus.

Wow. This is a pretty amazing story. Do you have any idea if this kind of touchiness all the time is realistic? I'd imagine so, but I was just wondering.
