Excellent and rounded characterizations of all of the major players in Ranma 1/2 and well done development and maturization of those characters.

The final conflict that took Cologne and Happosai was maybe a trifle contrived, but hey, I have trouble seeing Cologne as a loony evil old woman. My prob not yours. I liked your interpretation of Akane, Shampoo, and Mousse in particular. And I agree with you. At the end of the manga, Ukyo probably does love Ranma more; unfortunately, Ranma was hooked on Akane before anyone else ever showed up, and depsiute her childish violence, only a belief that his presence was harming her would ever really chase Ranma away from Akane.

As per your request, I did read your other works aside from 'Vengence is Mine!
This one was disappointing, and I couldn't even finish it. The first thing that turned me off was the notation. Just use separate chapters, don't make the reader work to read a fic, which is at best average.

Next when the cure for the curse was being administered you went overboard at being cute with all the random chaos effects. While some people might laugh at Ryouga's pig form getting wings, I just rolled my eyes, having seen that joke done so many different ways in other fics.

Then we have the Twin Elephants Recursion Loop. You didn't explain this technique at the first mention, which annoyed me more than it acted like a hook. Finally when it is explained, and the name is described as a distraction, it got me thinking... only a moron would tell an opponent the key to his special technique within its name. 'Twin Elephants Playing In Water' would produce the same effect but not be so obvious.

Finally the real reason this sequence of stories turned me off is no drama. You use too many narratives and summaries and not enough scenes to tell this story. When an end is found, you write beyond that end, making the story less interesting for it. For me this story sequence finished at about the time Ranma ceased to be the central focus, which is when I stopped reading.

Holy cow. That took me a long time to read, but I got through it all in one sitting (side-stories read at the appropriate times even!). Absolutely loved it. The characters were right on, the fight scenes were really well written, and there were a number of occasions where I busted a gut laughing (Especially during "The Cure"). One thing I thought was a little off though was how quickly the story was resolved in the end. It was nice that Ukyo got her first choice in the father, but it seemed as if she convinced Akane a little too quickly.

Also, you didn't mention what Tofu was doing! I was hoping for some big story as to where he went and what kept him away.

Remarkable story. Good characterization, good pacing, good dialogue. If I had to fault it at any point, I would say that it's a trifle too serious for my tastes, but this is quibbling, in light of the other fine qualities it possesses.

I was wondering, through, why Ukyo would go to have a child, if only to get even with Akane or something.

Other than that through, I love the whole ordeal.

This is a wonderful story since Ukyo and Akane had finally resolved issues concerning Ranma. HAppy that Ukyo got her wish to have Ranma's child! Konatsu's back! Everybody is happy!

You DO know that you can put multiple chapters in each entry, right? Why did you make 5 stories when you could have made 1 story with 5 chapters?

Hallo...even though I don't know the first thing about Ranma 1/2, I must say that this is a very intriguing story. Ukyo's characterization lives all on its own; and her confrontation with Akane is a fitting high point to the entire story. I enjoyed it very much!

Now I have to go read the rest of the companion pieces.
