this story has the making of a best selling novel! writing style is so fine.[thumbs up]

I would like to say a number of things.

They say imitation is the greatest compliment. If this is so, than I'd like to be the first to say that this fiction is perhaps the single greatest compliment my writing has ever received. It's not every day that an entire story is dedicated to me, to thank you. I'm both flattered and grateful that someone out their holds my work to such a high degree. You've taken on quite an endeavor and i commend your dilligeance.

That being said, as an author I cannot ignore the simple fact that the greater majority of your story is in fact MY story that's just been taken through a quick editing session. Please bare in mind that this is not accusation, or a condemnation, just a simple statement of fact.

And plagiarism is plagiarism.

In all fairness, I do realize that it has been years since I last updated A Legend of the Past a Savior from the Future, and the story has since sat unfinished, and I have been unreachable. Even still, that's no exscuse for laziness. I worked very hard to put together those descriptions and dialog. There are parts where original names appear at random. If you really loved the story that much and wanted to build upon it, that's just fine.

Just tell it using your own words.

I wrote my story as a way retelling the tale of Princess Mononoke from my own perspective, how I would have reacted to those same situations from the anime.

It would have been nice to see what you would have done in my place.

Having said all that, I still encourage readers to continue enjoying this story. I look forward to seeing how it all wraps up in the end.

Puff-puff-puff! (Out of wind from a hard week of studies, so I'm glad to cram this slice of relief review in!)

But there's nothing more that can be said of a great long intriguing read that you can't put down! Just minor tech incongruities like "European Uzis that looked like they came out of WWII" when Uzis are Israeli creations long after WWII, but that's a minor quibble because your characters are so darn interesting and (often) sympathetic! On my Mac I get funny markers all over your text but maybe that's just me. This tale begs to be done as a light novel. Maybe if you asked around Deviant Art, some bored artist spinning his wheels dabbling the same tired images again and again might take you up on it for a change! Give it a shot! The only minor complaints I have is not having a scorecard as the powers and limits of the characters to make them feel more mortal and "people" my feelings can relate with.

I expected Okoto to make Alex's curse armor change or something. Meh. He wasn't fully demonized yet, anyway.

"But who's gonna feed me smoked meat?!" Ha, I bet Isaaku will love Alex's time. It always annoyed me in Inuyasha that only two of them could use the well. Should've been all of them, that way interesting stuff could happen in the Present as well as the past.

Seems like the Gods are getting killed off quickly... humanity will soon have free reign over the wilderness... how sad. I've always thought that man being unable to completely tame and/or explore nature was important to keeping our worse habits at bay, but sadly, not even that can really curb man's destruction of the environment, can it?
