If the Hat and the Come and Go Room are supposed to be so helpful, why didn't they ever help Snape when he was Headmaster?

Silly me for asking--there are always exceptions for Snape, of course (just like him earning Life Debts etc. never counts in canon, either, or Fawkes helping those loyal to Dubmledore).

Anyway, excellent chapter, though. I'm glad that Snape is finally free. I wonder how long it'll last before he gains a new Mistress? (judging by the way the story is going, not long). One hopes Hermione will be less apt to abuse her power than Dumbles, Voldie, and Molly.

Good chapter! Ah, the healing power of licorice...and it was a good thing indeed that Snape was hidden by the sheets.

What if the description of the Potion Master's job was rewritten? And signed by the Headmistress or Headmaster? Just because Snape can't cast the Imperius on Molly doesn't mean that Hermione can't. Just sayin'.

Albus must have had a lot of fun watching the Marauders beat up on Snape--I wonder if _that_ subject ever came up when Dumbledore showed off Door Central? No doubt the old Headmaster had to pick and choose things...for the Greater Good, of course (if nothing else, he could have blackmailed James Potter and Sirius Black out of their money for the Order).

But I digress. Hermione's scheme seems to be perking along nicely...

Just a thought...was Snape's Unbreakable Vow sworn to the Headmistress of Hogwarts, or to Molly Weasley personally? This could make a difference if there is, shall we say, a regime change.
