I love how you portrayed Jane's confusion and curiosity about her feelings. It's exactly how a girl her age thinks. Your whole characterization of Jane was perfect. Oh and the bit where she reveals that she is able to embroider and bake made me giggle.
Short though it may be, I adored this story!

Oh my gosh! It's so beautiful. I am so picky that I rarely ever favorite a story, but this one will definitely be favorited. You pegged Jane perfectly in my opinion. And I can just imagine Jester playing ballads at midnight. In fact, the thought of it makes me swoon...
