Wonderful story, well written and subtly humourous. For the reader at least, I bet poor Tanuma was scared of the spirit. The ending was really amusing, both Nyanko & Natsume could see grown up kitsune boy sprawled atop Tanuma while he cluelessly caress it as a fox! LOL!

That was hilarious! I can see Nyanko rolling around on his back while Natsume stands there wondering what to do and say. It's such a funny image. I'm currently at work and evey time the phone rang while I was reading this, I had to stop (silently) lauhging. My cheeks hurt trying to repress my smile. And co-workers probably think I'm crazy...

I enjoyed how you characterized Tanuma ... you've captured his personality very well. I was also very pleased to see the little fox return ... well, not so little now, I guess. So ... is the fox a he or a she?

A very well written Natsume Fic. It really explored Tanuma's character but I find the ending really really confusing. Uh, what was so funny? Why were Natsume and Nyanko laughing? Is there something I'm missing...?
