Very cute and one of the best written fics I'veseen on this site.

There's this feeling you sometimes get when you read a new story that has, say, a pairing that you never really thought about -- or even thought you would like -- but as you read, you are struck by the undeniable chemistry and potential and /brilliance/ of it. And this story sticks in the back of your mind for days so that it's all you can think about, forcing you to question: "Why aren't there more fics like this?!"

Well, this isn't a pairing so much as it's a pairing of fandoms, but that's pretty much what I'm feeling right now. The battle of wits/sizing up/assessing and eventually deciding not to just flat out kill the other/snark-because-silent-tense-stand-offs-are-just-so-predictable is... YES. I'll throw in an exclamation point or three in case I wasn't clear before: this fic is YES!

The more I think about it, the more I can see the potential in the interaction between these two groups. I can see a lot of genuinely funny, non-crackish humor as well. How would Duo and Wash get along? Would they, even? Quatre and Simon? Heero and Zoe? Trowa and River? (I have no idea what would happen if those two were ever to meet, but I would pay to read it) For that matter, River and Heero, with their similar backgrounds?

OMFG that's ALL I have to say. Well not really. Not once did I even consider combining those faves... Gundam Wing, and Firefly. I applaud your imagination!

Now, so that this seems like an ACTUAL review... characterization is pretty solid, especially considering how short this fic is. The only bad thing i'd say is that there doesn't seem to be enough description.
