This was a BEAUTIFUL line, sums up Hawkeye so well. She deals with things through emotional surpression, which is extremely unhealthy. Most people don't see that, and I commend you for it.

This was also very like her- in the sense that she doesn't see what she's doing is unhealthy, since she believes that functioning now is what's important.

Hehe, cute. Really in-character Manga!Hawkeye, especially her blunt, sarcastic response to life "fucking me over". Most people would OOC her there as being optimistic. You're right, she's very reslistic.
