Oh, this is just lovely. It's hard to find Lori fic, or Merton/Lori, but this fic helps fill that void nicely. I do like the idea of Merton/Lori, but she's right: I do wonder whether they would work out romantically.

You're not going to leave it at that, are you? Noone seems to appreciate the Lori/Merton contingent. You write well, and I would like to see Lori's feelings and Merton's reactions explored more fully.
