mikami's devotion to light is fascinating

Very crisp, very tight. I like it. Also, very morbid, but that is the charm.

Ah, you got their characterization down pat. I could really see this scene playing out in the series.

My only critique would be the constantly changing POV. It felt jerky and interrupted the flow of the story. I would say pick one character or the other, or do omnipresent narration. Otherwise, it was very well written and I really enjoyed it! :)

Remember how I said that this fic was about Mikami's adoration of Light? I love how it has become a fic about Light's inability to forget L, even when he has moved on and has won Mikami's utter devotion.
And I love it even more now.

Hokay, TOTALLY an L/Light fic IN DISGUISE!! I can't really remember what I've said and what I haven't, so i'll try and comment the last part that I hadn't seen before?
Actually, the line "L had never submitted" is very nicely placed, and it's short and just so ldkj;sfjsd;skj. I love how in the middle of a blow job, Light is thinking, all the time, using his brain instead of just surrendering to the sensations. And I like the way he's so condescending to Mikami all the way through this, so very secure in his position. The contrast with the way he sees things, and how it all plays out in the anime is great.

The penultimate line is great, it shows how detached Light becomes from his aim of creating a new world, and how it becomes more about winning, about beating L and Near and Mello and proving his superiority.
