Noooooo! D: Shunsui, come back!

What makes this even more tragic for me is knowing that Shunsui gets cut down by Aizen in Karakura. Nanao, why didn't you take that chance?

Bah. This was an incredible, beautifully-written one-shot that addressed the more realistic side of a Nanao x Shunsui. Nanao's just too careful, and this seems like a situation that could actually fit into the manga itself.

Which makes the reader even sadder, of course, knowing that this is practically canon.

Oh that is so sad! I love these two so much! I'm so psyched that we finally get to see what Shunsui can do in the Manga! I kinda hope he gets a bit injured to give Nanao a scare, lol. She needs something to force those emotions out! I hope you write sequel for when he returns or doesn't return ;)
