The thing about Shounen manga is the main character has to be a complete Gary Stu. It's the rule among rules. And Ichigo is the Gary Stu, who is completely invincible.

I am so pleased to find my favorite Bleach character, Uryuu, in a fic. I have read a lot of RenIshi, but usually it just consists of smut, without a lot of plot or storyline. I like stories that have more than just the sex. This piece has the potential to become one of those stories. It would be nice to see Renji taking Uryuu out to do things, and just spend time with him in order to help Uryuu come out of his self-imposed exile. Of course, while doing this, they would fall in love.

This was so beautiful. RenIshi has got to be my favorite yaoi pairing, especially when it's sweet and fluffy xD

I tried but I couldn't stomach this story, which is weird because I didn't find Scalpel Songs to bad...maybe its just because I can't see Renji as gay he's kind of macho but not to the point of over compensation plus he likes Rukia.

But it is fun imagining what Renji's reactions would be if he read this O_o

About your note at the top you absolutley right about Ishida and Orihime getting the short end of the stick in Hueco Mundo although I think personally that Chad gets the least amnount of recognition in the seires-in both the Soul socitey and Hueco mundo he gets almost no cool fights

This story, however, was absolutely amazing. I've told you before and I don't know how else I can, but you're one of the best I've ever read. For anything. It's a real pleasure reading through your stuff.

Your comparison with Uryuu seeing Ichigo's bankai as bad while Renji's as good is probably my favorite thing you make about this couple. And the line at the end, "Uryuu's last coherent thought was that if Abarai had a Hollow, he would never let it hurt him, no matter what the cost.", says a lot by itself.
