Aw! This is so cute! I read "Engagement" first by accident but it works fine backwards. I loved the bridge bantering in that story too. I'm not normally a big Kirk/Bones shipper I tend to prefer Kirk/Spock but I like how you write the pairing. Are you ever going to continue "Battlefield" btw?

One question: Why does Chekov need contraceptives if he's with Sulu? Is one of them a hermaphrodite? Mpreg is a guilty pleasure of mine and futuristic stories allow for them to be somewhat realistic whether the explanation involves aliens who are naturally hermaphroditic (I'm still waiting for a story where Spock gets unexpectantly pregnant because of a previously latent and largely forgotten Vulcan trait for males to develop an ability to bear children when Vulcan population is severely threatened like some real animals in nature. Strangely enough, most Mpreg stories involving Spock have his human male partner becoming pregnant when it makes much more sense the other way around since non-humans have the potential biological unknowns.) or some future genetic manipulation that creates fully fertile hermaphroditic humans or some other futuristic medical treatment that allows for Mpreg. Anyway, you might not be thinking along those lines; but I did wonder why Chekov had to obtain contraceptives.
