Don't worry about your physics, because it's already so complicated sounding that I would buy it regardless of whether you got it wrong or not. Just pray that none of your readers are physicists and you'll be in the clear.

This was really good! :D And you obviously underestimate your physics skills, the whole thing sounds believable enough. The geek factor just added the hilariosity of the story.

This was the most entertaining thing I've read in months, I do declare. I know nothing about physics so it sounded lofty and confusing and I'd probably believe it in a heartbeat - nicely done! I love how you wrote the characters, and the inebriation process was illustrated skillfully and humorously. I could see everything and hear it happening, it was like a little movie thing. You definitely have an incredible imagination, sharp sense of humor, magnanimous writerly skills, and an impressively intelligent melon. Thanks for sharing the end result!

That is EXCELLENT. My physics is rusty, but it didn't matter, and your tie-off lines were perfect. Perfect. The only thing I expected which didn't happen was Scotty and Chekhov scrambling to record their brilliance on PADDs or voice recorders before they did, indeed, lose it. Go Kirk.
