So the conclusion to this damn fine story is here and what an interesting way of meeting it head on you have - with Ina offering Sam a release and Sam fighting the need, knowing deep down its not 'her' he really wants. And yay we get our Dean back, with the threat of nuclear nuggies as his memory of Sam 'almost' making out with girl is faced with a degree of love and understanding that is uniquely Dean! There is so much I could pick up and talk about but the most important feeling here is that the brotherly connection is back, with Dean back in big brother mode and Sam willing to let him take the lead again. Go enjoy that little holiday Sammy - cos if I know how Sifi's mind works you're gonna be facing a whole gaggle of woes if she writes about Lucifer's rising! (please...)

And so Castiel comes a-calling and conflict arises with him going nose to nose with Inana. Past history really does come back to bite you on the as* whether your an angel of god it seems! Loved how Bobby went into one when his car and house ends up a little battered by the heavenly encountered smackdown. So Ina wants Castiel to face up to what is actually being played out in God's own backyard, whilst Castiel needs to have Dean Winchester back, his soul restored so that the end game can play itself out. Now how that is going to happen still has to be revealed. And what throughout all this is Sam's thoughts, knowing the battle ahead with Lucifer has to be faced but not sure of what or how is brother's role is in all of this. Or indeed his own.

Yay we have Bobby in all his grumpy glory trying to sort out our amnesiac girl and boy. But it is the triangle that makes up Dean, Sam and Laura that offers up the solution. A kiss, a breathing in of memories and Laura recalls her connection to godhood and Ina and Enki are reawakened! Both mentally and physically... So Jill I bow down to your awesome ability to weave together so many different threads together to carpet your writing with such vibrant imagery and characters. Gotta hotfoot it across to the next chapter to see just how you get our Dean and Laura back now the the gods are back in play!

OMG I wasn't expecting this turn of event with demons turning up and Sam facing them down, only to lose his brother and Laura for this display of power. Of course they'd run, be scared senseless by something they cannot comprehend, would think Sam some kind of monster but damn it to hell it was hard to read, to see that sort of reaction from the two people Sam loves most in the world. Gotta chase after the next chapter to see what you have planned next for my boys!

Hm Sammy certainly is finding ways to relieve his inner frustrations here... its enough to make a grown woman blush and swoon! The panic from both Dean and Laura whilst he took a break from them was so real, but it did the trick forcing them into action, though the uncertainity both are facing was highlighted so beautifully by the end of this chapter. Loved how an in-charge Sam confronted this and made them physically sleep in the same bed... though his own confused feelings for Laura are still holding sway here. Damn Lillith with screwing with our boy's head so much...

Yay the boys have got Laura back - tho' shell shocked and nearly broken. Loved how you explained their connection and the rings they wore and how these thoughts swirled around in Sam's head. Now the task is at hand to reclaim what that damn Ifrit stole away from them so I'm let thinking that Bobby is going to be needed big time here.

Hi Jill, I know I'm as late as ever with my reviews but here goes! Poor Sam has his hands full with an amnesiac big brother and a missing Laura. Dean may be at heart the same man but he is now as Sam says a 'clean slate' and as green as green can be when it comes to protecting himself against all the supernatural fuglies out there. Looking forward to playing catch up with the other chapters!

Well... finally, I get to the first of the chapters. Sadly, I won't be able to do them all right now, but... it's a start.

Okay. As always, I love your writing - the descriptions, the easy dialogue - all very nice. That said... have I mentioned how much I... don't like love triangles. It's one of the reasons I will probably never read "Eclipse" again even if/when I re-read the rest of the "Twilight" series. Part of growing up in a black and white family is that certain things are just wrong and so... you don't pursue them, even emotionally or in the head. (and I'm not alone in this, so I don't feel like a total freak, here.) So triangles always bug me because someone is always loving someone they can't have (or shouldn't pursue). I'm not liking Sam right now, let's just say.

I am glad that his better nature is winning, at least externally, but he's buggin' me.

Now, you can take that as a compliment because any character that can elicit emotion (especially strong emotion) is well written - AND I think that goes double for a character that is normally beloved (uh... though little brother Sam has always bugged me compared to Dean, at least I usually like your Sam).
