Sometimes, when you are ready for it and want it, standing in a full-out rain is just the perfect thing.

And her vision of the open field and mountains - sounds like Colorado, close enough to the mountains to see them, but away from the cities and roads, if you ask me :-)

I feel like it's relatable and honest. That feeling freedom, that lightness, I totally understand and I hate trying to put it into words. I feel like no one else understands and I'm thrilled that you do.

I can't quite understand why you were expecting criticism. This is very well written. I love the raw emotion of it. I also love how Cal came after her.

I love how you described everything in detail! It was a wonderful story. My only complaint? It's not long enough and left me begging for more! LOL!
