i just found your story and i truly love it. i felt all the characters were perfect. it felt like LMM wrote it herself. the only thing is that Marilla wasnt dead when Ann got married unless you are going off the moveis in that case just kidding.

I really enjoy perspective of Anne and Gil's marriage. You seem to know the characters well and it shows in your writing. You've done a nice job so far and I hope that you continue with this story!

And it flows nicely, too. It's just amazing! I bet you that LM Montgomery herself would say so too.

It's been years since I've read the series, but this seems very close to how I would picture Gil and Anne after marriage. The dialogue sounds very true to the books. Good job with that.

I would have like a little more detail when they were in bed together--nothing graphic, it's just that I wasn't sure what had happened. One second, Anne was afraid of what was to come, but they were still talking, and the next, she had tears and then it was over, I guess.

I want to know if she had any feelings of passion at that moment or if it was just fear and dread. I would have hoped Gil would try to make it not just bearable, but at least pleasant for Anne. What I got from it is that there was nothing about it that Anne liked. I don't see her as that kind of person. I see her liking everything up to the point where it might have hurt. All that can be described in a very PG sort of way.

Otherwise, very nice story.

I love the ending of this chapter. Your dialogue just enhances the true characters of this funny pair.
