Wow, brilliant. Happy, of course, because Wash didn't truly 'die', sad because effectively, it was the same as dying and he couldn't go back. I loved how he changed things up in Mal's timeline, it fit in so perfectly— one couldn't help but think that's an awfully convenient thing during the movie, and turns out, it was. :)
