Prejudicies might don't know limits, but luckily, neither love does. Well, this isn't only love, it's respect, admiration, care...and many other things all together.

Spock is, definetely, my favourite character right because...of whom he is. I would have defended him too, I think. So I can only appreciate Uhura speech (and yes, wrath...), and your commitment in writing this fanfic. Congratulations!

I would love to gush over Spock with you, but I try to maintain my dignity, in public at least (and in private if it can be helped). Very sweet story; it is nice to see Spock's friends and crewmembers come to his defense, and the prejudiced/racial premises are always interesting. Nicely done.

Oh my gawd, your story made me gushing over Spock like those watermelon gushers you eat that are like 90% fruity goodness. Nyota describing Spock made me have a lump in my throat, I have no idea why that happened. Perhaps because there's a song that says, "everybody hurts sometimes, everybody cries" in the background. But still, go Nyota for teling those ensigns what's up! If that was me, I would've punched one and said, "Sorry, it's just after we defeated the Romulans, all the emotions were building up and I guess, with all my illogical tendencies I had to let it out. Truly sorry!" then after I turn to walk away I'd hastily say, "Don't mess with my man!"

I really your theme of stupidity and how even our first officer can go through such experiences! And I how he says Nyota is stupid (not so matter-of-factly) for believing that her caring for Spock makes him uncomfortable.

:) for halloween if I see a man dressed up as Spock, I am going to hug him.

Also, if I could, I'd put that sexy Zachary Quinto and the gorgeous Zoë Saldaa in a room together and force them to be more than just colleagues, regardless of the first being married!
