The love-hate potential that is Troypay/Chadpay has always blinded me to the like-like potential that is Zekepay. He's so sweet and she's so...spicy? I don't know. They'd just work in a way that I wasn't open to before I read amazing little ficcies like this one!

This should jhave happened in the movie. Zekepay fans would've been so happy. That was the one thing I didn't like about the movie, all the scenes with them we taken out.

:D So, I'm breezing through your stories lately. I'm kind of addicted, lol. I love Sharpay. I wasn't even going to watch HSM when it first came on--but I tried and immediately love love loved her. She could have been just another popular girl stereotype, but somehow Tisdale made her into something. Something charming and strange. One article said: Sharpay makes narcissism a goofy, bedazzled pleasure. Pretty much summing up feelings on the matter.

Anyway, while I tend to love Troypay (the first fic I ever wrote was for HSM, on my cherryblossomjen account; lol-that was a while ago), Zeke/Sharpay works great too. He's such a sweetheart, he loves her so much and he's beautiful. Probably the most genuinely handsome of all the guys.

Reminds me of another thing about HSM that's cool. People want to dismiss it as commercialism aimed at kids. But there's a lot of great things about it. For instance, its willingness to put interracial couples together without so much as a blink of an eye. You don't see that very much, even in 'adult'/grown up tv and movies. I know because I look for it. Maybe because my parents are an interracial couple.

That was so unbelievably cute and adorable. I loved it. I love Zeke and Jason's conversation. And I loved, loved how worried Zeke was about Sharpay. When she jumped into Troy's arms I felt so bad for Zeke, but when she leaned into Zeke's arm, that was so sweet.

And the kiss, I love how he made sure no one was looking and it was simple and sweet.
