Okay, after fun discussion of not-fun things in the world of PC viruses, I figured it was time for another of my long rave-y reviews.

Touching on my absolute biggest weak-spot at the moment - TommyKim MMPR-timeline fics.

OH MY GOD. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear you still go to high school. You capture that whole age group, the whole world so incredibly well (I mean, I'm several years out but I think I stopped mentally aging about halfway through my junior year so I think that counts, right?)

And seriously - the first line was just the greatest opener. Talk about dragging me into a story! It's great how you do this one-shot, leading into questions with more questions and more questions. Why is she on the foot? Where is she? Why is Tommy her maybe-soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend?

I couldn't stop reading this if I freakin' tried.

And I did! I'm sick with swine flu and I'm tired but THIS IS TOO GOOD.

I've been watching the first three seasons religiously lately to get really into character with these guys, so I can really hear them in my mind having this conversation.

I love it like burning. Your skill with dialogue is second to none!

"Goodbye and watch out for the French lady." OMG I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING IT HURTS TO LAUGH THIS ISN'T FAIR.

The whole parental-advice thing was a nice running commentary through the thing. Teens trying to figure out how to handle this situation - a fight they haven't run into.

*snickers* Give these two a monster made of lipstick, they're golden. Give them a chick kissing Tommy on a dare and all bets are off.

LOL "Now I have to kill Larry." Such a sweet sentiment :) And yes, I totally squee-ed at the kiss. E!

ROFL Tommy eating the cookies was a nice touch. He's sweet, sorta shy (until he comes back as the white ranger - srsly mad attitude adjustment!) and adorable... but still a man.

Overall - please never stop. I love how you can write creative scenes while still keeping everybody in-character and REALISTIC.

I love the princess bride...my husband got me hooked and we had the theme song modified to dance to at our wedding for "our dance"

"As you wish" is the better quote, but if you don't know the movie wouldn't work...and I'm very fond of vesini's "Never get into a battle of wits when death is on the line"

I loved this work...See Shawn I'm finally reading something. Thank god for his early bed time,

This is a wonderful story. I was intrigued from the moment I began reading until the end.

Your style is very direct making room for lots of humor and action. I like that you don't directly come out and say what happens, it makes the reader want to find out as they continue to argue. As I was reading I thought, what happened that made Kimberly want to throw a shoe at Tommy and accidentally hit Billy? Which then answers the question, what is it that made Billy want to send them away?

The Kim/Tommy relationship is so realistic here. I can see something like what happened with Tina actually happening and Kimberly overreacting, making the situation worse. It really seems like something Kimberly would do. Of course you have me taking Tommy's side in this story. What more is that you come out and say that they love each other despite the fact they can't stand each other at the moment.

I really love how you repeat their parents' advice. It gives a more realistic feel to the story. I'm curious, did you make up the word, "girl-friending?" or is it an actual term?

The ending is hilarious. I like Kimberly's reaction to the cookies. '"Yes and you are leaving those cookies behind... and the ones in your hand... now swallow... wipe your mouth again... good boy."' There's a good amount of humor here: their argument, the conversation with the French woman (I don't remember her name), and the cookies.

Great work with this story. Now I'm curious what Kimberly and Tommy will do to Billy once they return? I look forward to reading more works from you.

Shawn30 never disappoints, as usual :) , and always delivers no matter the wait. The crack in the French language was definitely a good one, LOL. I didn't really watch 'Lost' but I don get the general story of it.

I'd say Kim is definitely at fault at this one, may be it's just because I'm a guy and she pretty much seems to be the one who's really at fault. More like 70% hers while 30% his.

Ah... Sweet and innocent. I enjoy the grown up love more, but this one is just as good.

I look forward to your future PR fics.

Hopefully Tommy and Kim learned their lesson: NEVER pi** off the nerd of the team.

Next time he might just say "Screw losing the powers, someone else can have em-TRICERATOPS!" and use his Blade Blaster on them. lol Although Zordon might actually let that one slide, as long as his team members are still alive. lol (Hell, he probably would've sent em away if Billy hadn't-since I'm bettin the shoe thing happend in the Command Center lol)

"

There are no Keebler elves on those packages. Dharma might make rat poison for all we know."

Well, not like posion is more dangerous than all those suicide missions Tommy's been on as the Green Ranger, so no worries, Kim. lol

What a unique idea! While I'm clearly a big fan of all the Tommy-Kim reunion stories, I also like these stories that tell a little more about the relationship they did have while on the show, since we never really got to see it. And major props for the reference to Lost, another of my favorite shows!
