I'm not much of a slashy person, especially, for some reason, in terms of Tom and Carl, but this story made it work very well. The book doesn't right out say that Tom and Carl are "together," but a lot of people have made that conclusion, and it's certainly possible! So yeah, thanks for posting!

Utterly beautiful. Touching in a way I don't really have words for...but then again, I shouldn't need to say it, because you already did, far more eloquently than I could! :)

I admit, I've always been more of a fan of the Feline Wizards than the Young ones, so I'm not sure if it's ever been explicitly stated in the books that Tom and Carl are real-world life partners/lovers as well as wizardly partners. But I've always rather assumed it was so. After reading this story, I won't have any doubts ever again...I'll read them this way whether it's intended or not! ;)

Keep up the lovely work, and keep writing in the Wizardly universe, as you do it remarkably well! :)
