lokiwolf 2009-11-01 . chapter 29This is great, I love it! Wright was probably my favourite character. I kinda wished Picard was in it more, but I didn't find myself missing him.
Looking forward to the alien crossover! (even though I know NOTHING about Alien) |
Clio Trismegista 2009-08-24 . chapter 29Hi dude! Sorry, I was delayed, but I finish your fanfic and I must say: is awesome!
You really don't disappointed with the final chapters, and I can say with no shame that this is one of the best adventure tales that I read in this site! The right measure of conflicts, drama, UST, suspense and amazing battle scenes.
Can't wait for your next fanfic, really hope that you write more about Star Trek, doesn't matter what universe or ship, I'm sure that you will be capable to tell more funny tales.
ps: You really don't know McGyver? Get the dvds, you won't regret. |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-08-03 . chapter 29I kinda didn't review thea las few chapters because I'd have nothing to say for his one...so here's my hue-ish review!
I think it was kinda...symbolic that Armus would sacrifice itself to kill the shining ones. OK, maybe not symbolic..but I can't think of another cool description. HE/it wanted to kill the shinies and was disapointed when it seemed Data and crew were going to succeed...and the sacrifice was well worth it..because..
*GASP!* TASHA LIVES! And everything is all happy.
Hmm, that seemed kinda..lame description of the situation. Oh well :D
The fact that Captain Picard came to the rescue made me smile. The two of them (Picard, Data) can never stay away for too long.
I loved the end scene with Picard's sulkiness. Not to mention his surprise to see Tasha. If I was him, I'd probably have a heart attack from shock!
I think the one thing I'm most happy for is that you didn't kill Data. Whenever the situation got dangerous, I prayed you wouldn't end the story like the movie "Nemesis", which also made me cry. Data is too awesome to die :P Thank you for not killing him xD
Thanks for the compliment. I hope you'll review my story as I reviewed yours!:)
I'm glad the story turned out so well, yet sad that it's over. I'm really interested in what's going to happen between Data and Tasha now, even though they're going to be on seperate starships. Have you considered a sequel? *grins stupidly*
OK, my computer keyboard is being a bum-chum, so I'm ending the review. Thanks for writing such a cool story. I hope you do more Data fics in the future!! |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-08-03 . chapter 26woah...MADDOX IS AWAKE! When he said "Data, I hope you're tired of the chair", I thhought he was angry and gonna gave Data removed from duty for almost killing them all mre than once.
Of course, Mddox wants to kill the bastards! WOOT! |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-08-03 . chapter 23wow. I went to sleep reading an update, then wake up having to read 7!!
Looks like the shining ones are gonna be tougher to deal with than Data thought.
*goes off to read next chapter* |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-08-02 . chapter 22interesting. Armus showed it's weaker side. Perhaps not intentionally, but too late to take emotions back. At least Data is happy that Tasha isn't dead (again). Seeing the whole operation again on Tasha's body must've been pure evil deja vu...
Keep up the good work.
BTW, whats "fanfic 100" mean? I'm not quite up-to-date on Fanfiction's terms. |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-08-01 . chapter 21wow. That chapter was extremely emotional.
Poor Data-- thats the second time he lost the woman he loved... (maybe).
It's good to see the chapter with a positive part-- the good guys won! (for now at least).
Can't wait for more, especially for Maddox to wake up. Good to know Armus wasn't the cause of his blackout. |
 Clio Trismegista 2009-07-28 . chapter 20Hello dude! ^^
Nice chap. But I'm impatient for the final alley. When the guys will start to Earth? Not that your fic is slow, it is in right pass, but I wanna know what more will happen, savy?
You know, Armus has a little of telephaty... is there some chance that Maddox still is in coma because of it? This would make sense.
The dig about Terminator and McGyver made me laugh, nowadays kids doesn't know ** about the mechanical master. |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-07-28 . chapter 20oh. i thought he was gonna apologize in this chapter. Oh well. SOmething to definately look foward to next. Armus's playing with Tatiyana was cool, much to the Russian's discomfort. Armus is just...evil. Like a...skin of evil xD (I'll stop making references now :D)
Overall, nice chapter. iNteresting about the mutiny. I don;t know how much luck they'll have against an android, but only time will tell. Hopefully Maddox will wake up soon.
Speaking of maddox, I'm under the impression that Armus is the reason why the doctors can't help him. Its almost like armus WANTS Data in command because he would be easier to push around-- conflicting love emotions with the stress of commanding the vessel.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

 evilplutonium 2009-07-27 . chapter 19This will be a review of Chs. 1-19.
Overall, this is an excellent story; for the most part, the exchanges between characters and how Data responds to them are close to what we'd see "on screen." I especially love the first few chapters involving Data, Maddox, and Picard. Tatiyana is a really good character. I do, however, have a few criticisms/questions:
(a) As a few posters have mentioned, Data's trust of Armus/Yar is a little too sudden. Granted he's compromised (and in a realistic way), but he still wouldn't believe quite so readily. I think this is about to be addressed in Chapter 20, but without tension, I am not sure that I buy it as a reader.
(b) How much time has passed through Chapter 19? Picard is under the impression that Data will return in one week. It has been foreshadowed that the mission will take longer. I'm going to assume for the moment that one week is up; Picard would not be a happy camper. Moreover, does Starfleet know about Maddox? If so, Picard would definitely find out from his sources, thus creating tension in that regard.
(c) It would be interesting to see some internal struggle between Data's style of command and Picard's. My guess is that he'd really be torn between duty (ship and crew) and his personal feelings (Yar). Picard would not support (or at least on the surface) any mixing of the two. Wouldn't Data feel like he's letting Picard down by allowing his personal feelings to interfere with his command?
An excellent story and I'm eager for the next chapters! Thanks for the read! |
 Kaiba-Kun 2009-07-25 . chapter 19Great chapter, and a long one, too! WOOT!
yeah, Data better apologize! If I was Tatiyana, I would've slapped him-- of course, it would probably mean brig time and a broken hand but hey-- it would've been worth it for maybe 30 seconds. :D
Armus/Tasha was great. Poor ensign-- nothing like walking down the corridor and seeing Data's faceprint zoom into the bulkhead (lol).
I hope we'll see more of Maddox soon. He is still alive, right?
In reply to my review, I m actually making a Star Trek TNG story, focusing on Data. He isn't running for President (lol), but it deals with his emotional turmoil after his encounter with the Borg Queen. It should hit fanfiction within the next week! I hope you'll check it out :) |
Clio Trismegista 2009-07-25 . chapter 19Hello girl, don't worry, you spelled my username right.
Great chap, it gave us a new perspective about the mission status and changed a little the notion about Data/Tasha-Armus.
Did I said how much I love your Wright? He remember me Stanley Kowalsky, with who rude way to love his ship. You know he likes her, but is unable to do it in a kind manner.
Chekov keeps surprising me. She lookek like she had a little hero crush on Data, but after the battle she is on full security mode, and this is great. Then again, her open discution with Data leaks a little of insubordination. It's a fine line, it needs be careful, because Data, as a First Office and acting Captain, could fry her ** by some things that she said.
More so, the way that the crew is weary and sometimes against Data is very clever. It would be strange if the crew of man that tried dismantle Data were suddenly amicable to him. Karn is the best example, he respect the the rank, but still look twice on the machine.
Keep going. I anxiously waiting for the next chap. ^^ |
Clio Trismegista 2009-07-21 . chapter 18Amazing fic. Great planned in the battle parts, the characters are very well built and the history make me want more.
The way that your Data harmony his new emotions and sub-routines is insightful, but his quick warmth to Armus is a little disconcertant, I know you said that is because Tasha in Armus, but still is weird, meanning that Armus is truly an evil creature.
Waiting for the next chap. |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-07-17 . chapter 18a very emotional chappie! With a speech like that, Data should run for President! (lol). Can't wait for more :)
Kaiba-Kun |
Kaiba-Kun 2009-07-16 . chapter 17:O o i like whats going on...Tasha is coming back! Poor data-- fighting to keep control. Keep up the good work. I look foward to a new chappie very soon ;)
