If I was to suggest anything you could do to improve this fic, it'd be maybe to flesh out a few of the paragraphs- for example, you could maybe make a bit more of their friendship before it changed, so that the change seems bigger.

But that said, I really enjoyed this as it is. Poor Axel. The last few lines worked really well I think, especially as we know what happens afterwards. So, good work!
