A wonderful piece! I love the way you chose to deviate this story line from the original... it doesn't replace the original story line, but rather it almost in a sense makes it even "thicker." Not only is Rukia in jail, but to make things even more complicated so is Ishida! It brings in a whole conflict of interest between the characters that wasn't there before.
It's also wonderful how you have helped the reader explore the depths of Ishida and Inoue's personalities. As one reads this story it's like diving into the ocean of each character's psyche. The farther the reader delves, one gets in deeper, darker, and more intense places. Please keep updating so us readers aren't stuck in the depths wondering what will happen next! =D ...Especially with the haunting thought of what adding Gin to this already fragile and volatile "mix" would be!

OMG! OF course it ends here! *sigh* This story is soo awesome. Kinda sad at some places. I feel so bad for Uryu-kun. And Orihime. Pleeze, pleeze, PLEEZE update soon!

Wow, your writing style is fantastic. I love the dark mood you've set across the entire story. Your character development is remarkable. You give your reader's insight as to why each character behaves the way they do. The entire process that you're putting Ishida through is so believable.

I don't think I can properly express how much I love this story. I love the characterization; you even made Ichigo, who has never been a favourite of mine, so incredibly believable that I like him more after reading this than I did when I started. And if I get started on how well you've written Inoue and Uryuu I'd never stop, so I'll just skip past that and say that this is simply gold. And gloriously angsty. :3 Your style is wonderful to read and the flawless mechanics makes brings it all together. This is the kind of fic that reminds me why I love IshiHime in the first place. Awesome work.

And now for the review...OMIGOSH! This was by far my favorite chapter yet! Inoue's resolve for Ishida almost made me cry reading it. Jeez, I know Kurosaki cares for Rukia, but couldn't he help Ishida? I can't wait for the next one!

You know, appreciation is the best the writer can give to reviewer and yours was just too kind :) I was delighted to see that Kurosaki had a reason not to talk to Ishida earlier - it just shows your skill and how the story is carefully thought out! There is logic and there is probability. I'm also glad Ishida had his reason to act like a jerk ;) and a good one to that. Ah, self-sacrificing Ishida is just what I love the most! And now Inoue sees it too... it looks like everything is now getting better, it's just so cruel that the upcoming execution can destroy it all. Like in a dream you fear to wake from. How will Inoue take it? Their interaction in the last chapter was great. I also liked her ecounter with Makimaki :) There are many little or bigger things that just... make the story. And the characters. Like Orihime's voice or Ishida being perceptive or one day that feels like much longer :) And now, what will be Gin's role? Ah. Please, please continue :)

I can't tell you how much I love this story. I know it has dark themes but...it has a sort of beauty, maybe because of your writing style. Your imagery is so clear, I can really picture it all in my mind's eye.
The insight into the characters you give is wonderful, especially with Orihime. I really like how you portray her; Kubo /does/ show a deeper side to Orihime and rarely do you see an author who is willing to bring that out. Also, Ishida's personality change is just a little heart-wrenching ;3; There is just so much emotion in this story, and so many little moments that I loved.
I can't wait for the next chapter- the knowledge that Ishida's execution date has been moved up and that little bit at the end there mentioning Gin's name has me on the edge of my seat! This is such a gem, thank you for sharing it!

The darkness is refreshing.
It seems that Orihime was so noble and /caring/ in the beginning but then later on it reveals that she's not all goody-goody like she thought she was all cracked up to be. Like how everyone else thought she was cracked up to be. The bubble-head image of her is partially true and not a complete act. There are deeper meanings to her actions, hopefully. This is a fantastic portrayal of her character. Though-personally-I hate her. :3
