Ah, the narration in this was lovely, and the way you write these two is fabulous. My favourite line had to be the mention of them "doing this for a very long time", very true to their characters.

I maintain that it is precisely because you wrote this lovely piece of Ukitake & Shunsui that BleachMangaWorld felt inadequete in their characters' development that they went and did what they did in chapter 364.

Really great fic!

I loved it all: the insight into the two captains' minds and their relationship, the nerdiness and scientific excitement of the 12th Divisioners (former science major here ;) ), the hilarious back-and-forth and utterly contradictory statements from Kyouraku and Ukitake about the Primera Espada, and of course the sweet, sweet parallel drawn in the end to the connection between the two captains. Absolutely wonderful!

(And you even inspired me to write my own piece, so really, this is perfect :P )
