I'm in the midst of mentally kicking Hermione for not saying something, ANYTHING, when Albus walked into the office with the Minister.

A sad story; but a well written one. Minerva's internal battles over her feelings were believable, and her punishment was suitably horrific.

Fairy tale tragic.

'F'n brilliant, fantastically written. The justice system of the wizarding world, still clinging to their 16th century ways, would indeed treat people in this manner and no doubt their confusion was just as real as you have portrayed. I see shades of Les Mizerables in this work. I hope you write more like this(if not a sequel to this work) as you have a flair for inciting emotions in your readers. Good luck and many successful writing to come.

What an interesting concept. The fact that she was sent to azkaban and treated so badly when she hadn't even laid a finger on her student is deffinitely something I haven't seen before. I find the fact that she was sentanced to prison in such a manner to be slightly unrealisitic... but hey... this is fanfiction :).
