I don't think you're insane...you just have a different idea of thinking. Personally, I think the picture was there to remind him of "the one that got away," but that's just me.

Interesting, well written. Yes you are crazy, but so is my friend who thought along the same reason for Basil having a picture of his nemesis and thus the reason I decided to check this out. Though I disagree with this actually being the reason and merely it being more of an obsession of having to get the criminal that got away (like Robin in Teen Titans with his ROOM of Slade) This was still an awesome piece of work though. I love the mysterious undertone of it all, great work.

This was certainly interesting for sure. I was uncertain about this because frankly it unnerves me just a bit but animal is something that I can obviously deal with since I have finish reading and reviewing.

I was uncertain on how I will take this because this would be a first for me. A first in Great Mouse Detective. I like it. The plot was subtle but extremely interesting. I was not bore nor distracted at all by others thing and it was well developed. I know for a fact that if this was longer, I would so love to read it. This has a potential to be more if the author so wish it so but I love it as it is so it makes no difference to me.

I really do love how they met and how things turn out to be although it is so very sad.

M... so they had sex and Ratigan attempts to kill him afterwards?

It'd be cool to see a version of this story from Ratigan's point of view.
