I put this story on my Favorites List, but to my shame, did not tell you why.

I was profoundly moved by your ability to take us into the story so flawlessly that it seemed we were standing right there. I could feel the warmth of the bedroom, I could see the plea in his eyes.

You truly have a gift of prose, and I wish more people appreciated and celebrated that.

I was searching through your list of stories to find something new to read. All I can say is WOW! This story was eye popping reading material.
I can't picture anyone other than Lily in such a deeply intimate moment with Severus.

Beautiful indeed- but much too short. There are so many more things I could delve into when thinking about Severus and everything about him. So many beautiful things that JKR never mentioned...

How lovely! I tried to read this w/o assigning an identity to the lady as I wanted to see who would naturally come to mind. The voice didn't particularly scream, Lily but no one else seemed imemdiately obvious either. Narcissa seemed fitting at times and comepletely ridiculous at others. Bella wasn't even a contender! So now I'm left contemplating who this mystery lady is. I usually picture those 3 to have been the leading ladies in his life and now I'm intrigued at the thought of Severus with someone else. Thanks for planting the seed!
