Well done! There are some lovely images here. I loved the idea of Susan keeping a candle vigil while everyone is fighting at Anvard, and the picture of Susan asleep in bed while Peter dozes in a chair has always been one of my favorite images in fandom. The ending was very good - tired, not-so-presentable Susan makes for a lovely contrast with the beauty that sent Rabadash a-courtin' in the first place.

Aww--I loved the bits with her and Peter! So sweet. My favorite line was the one about her not being sure she would ever forgive Rabadash for all the trouble he had caused. Good job!

That was a very good one shot. It was clearly quite well thought out and the writing style was very enjoyable. Good fic, keep up the nice work.

WOW i really enjoyed this! I guess I never thought of it that way, but Susan's plight in HHB must have been traumatic. She is, after all, almost abducted and forced into marriage. I supose they don't really elaborate on such things in the books, because it's a children's series, after all, and I love that you wrote something about it. And I love the due that you give Susan as a Queen and a strong woman, which is one of the things that I think the books lacked. Though the Narnians obviously dissaprove of the Calormenes way of taking women as possessions, I feel like the "good guys" do their fair share of patronizing women. Also loved how Peter didn't say "I told you so," which was SO GREAT, especially for me who hates the "victim-blaming" culture that women often have to deal with. Anyway, GREAT job!

This is really good, I always hoped someone would write a story about Susan's perspective in The Horse and His Boy, especially since it is my favourite book in The Chronicles of Narnia, and you captured Susan's character perfectly!

I liked this, especially the ending where Susan describes who she is. "..and nobody's slave" - exactly.

That was so cute! Cute sounds lame for something well written but it was. I love the brother and sister moments. :) Well done. I really liked it. And they were all in character also which is another thing you accomplished amazingly well. I think I hate you now for always writing so well.
