It was not the words he chose, or even the manner in which he spoke them. It was the slight brush of his hand against hers—tactile, human comfort that lasted for half a second—that decided her successful interpretation." It was so metaphorical and symbolic-the piece as a whole, that is- that I felt it impossible to simply "read" through it. Each individual line seemed to be so meaningful to the piece, besides the regular fluidity of a transition, that I easily spent several minutes pondering theories of their intended purpose. I do ♥ Spock and Uhura and there's so many stories that are chiefly Spock's POV and Uhura's, I'm not sure how to classify this one, though the majority seems to be seen through Uhura's lens.

Simply put, I enjoyed your story. Go Spockura!
