I like the way your dealing with abuse, drinking and self-harm that young Harry is suffering from. You got me real intrigued by the strange mark that appeared as a paw print - but I like your explanation of it as well. I'm also guessing that the conversation between Remus and Severus had a subtle meaning hidden within it. Why didn't Harry tell Severus about his Voldemort dream/vision?

Great story! I really like the base plot and love your idea with Harry running drugs and I'm curious about the whole animagus thing ;)
