HOLYCRAP AH ENDING D:

xD Y'know, this seems like such a 'you' story to me. Maybe I've gotten to be more familiar with your writing, or maybe it's just the parental responsibility thing Luke's got going on, but the writing just says 'Luna'.

Rah. 3: I feel really bad for Lujayn and Nazli. Can't help but wonder how they're going to fare, not knowing English, being in a foreign country, traumatized, probably not all that well educated... YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE THEM A NICE ENDING, RIGHT? T_T

*sneezes* Geez, Luke's sure got a lot of relatives. If it didn't sound like they were dying out, I'd say they could probably repopulate Wyoming if they wanted to.

Mm, interesting thing you did there. You're one of few writers I've seen to actually deal with female-on-male rape, let alone female-on-adult male rape; usually if the subject is touched, it's touched in an adult female-seducing-younger male sort of way. Usually played for comedy. I like the way you did it.

*sighs* Good heavens. I need to make these characters enough cookies to last three lifetimes. That last line, especially... my goodness. That was terrible. In a "you're good at writing terrible things" sort of way, not a "you're terrible at writing" sort.

I love, love, LOVE this story. You have all the characters' voices and actions down perfectly, and I've laughed out loud at your one-liners. (Lily explaining The Curse of Oakdale to Ruth, and her casual acceptance of the town's insanity, was particularly fun!)

And of course the plot... it's brilliant. I love the way you've managed to weave all the supporting characters into the story of the main cast, and how you've connected the events on the show with your own very awesome twists. (Ameera's "real" past? AWESOME.) I especially love that this is post-Z Twins, but that Luke and Noah are still coping with the results of the plotline. (Because, hello, there is no way the boys should have been able to get over that whole thing so quickly!)

I can't wait to see where you go next with this, because I'm hooked!

Still haven't gotten the chance to get through everything. I know, I know, I suck, but I just wanted to drop in and let you know that I LOVE THIS CHAPTER. The feelings of suspense are AWESOME. Even though exposition seems like it may have been much of the purpose, nothing feels forced at all. <3

Very exciting! I really like how you explained Amira's backstory. Much more interesting than what what saw on the show. And I like that Ruth isn't totally accepting of Luke and Noah's relationship, but she's not intolerant of it either. It'll take time for her to adjust, but I have a feeling she will.

I love this story line!! Its great.

Ooh, yay! Things are getting exciting! I loved the "The world is full of bigots, Dad. They don't all have to be related to Noah" line! I also REALLY liked Holden's protectiveness of Luke! Cute. And yay Casey! I love his friendship with the boys. Can't wait for more - I know it's on the horizon! ^_^

Looking forward to watching how things pan out. I'm also curious, although it may never be addressed in the story, as to how the Grimaldis take Luke's sexuality, if they know about it at all. ^^

Exciting chapter. I like all of the history from the show and real life that you infused into it. And yay, we finally get to meet Aunt Ruth! :-)

Let's see, I think I've already told you most of what I could think of to say- I'm kind of crummy at doing reviews, you'll notice that most of the ones I post on eljay are within a few paragraphs long- but for the benefit of the other reviewers and the advantages of having it preserved for posterity...

I love the way you write romance. See, that "I'm an ass" scene between Luke and Noah doesn't even seem to be intended as a romantic scene, but from the way they behave around each other it's obvious that they are very familiar with each other and share a deep bond of mutual affection and respect.

You've also got the "Show, don't tell" rule down pat; although you certainly never told the readers (Okay... well... maybe this reader, but I mean within the story. :P) anything about Noah's relationship with his father, it's obvious that something's up.

I can't wait to see where else you go with this. ^_^
