I'm surprised he received any credit at all. He was always taken for granted. I'm sure Harry protested all that glory, but gee darn, never got around to doing anything to stop getting it.

How very special of Dumbledore--to offer a potions genius a teaching position at which he will slave for the rest of his life and risk it as well for "You disgust me", and then give his life for those who despise him.

Snape should have left Britain right then. Dumbledore would have found someone else to sacrifice himself for the Greater Good--but I forget, Regulus was already dead then.

Very nice. I thought that you characterized Snape very nicely. Snape-Dumbledore interaction always fascinates me and I think you hit the nail on the head with it.

This is very interesting. I like how Snape's story is told through academics, which are obviously a big part of his life. Also, you show Lily being an intellectual too, which I think is very important. She and Severus had a real connection, after all. Excellent story.
