Holy Mother of God! This is one of the most powerful, poignant, truthful Jack/Ianto fic's I have ever read. Even though it's from Jack's point of view, it says more about Ianto than it does Jack.

The emotions flowing from both men are palpable, and really touched my heart. You have such a wonderful gift for words, and I thank you so much for sharing it with me! Cannot wait to read more of your Torchwood works.

This is one of my favourite stories on this site. Your characterization and descriptions are flawless. Just the line you use for your summary is already amazing. I love how you entwine angst and comfort; it's not angst for the sake of angst (as some authors write), neither is it pointless and too easily dispensed comfort. A story that isn't easy for the audience (your descriptions require concentration and time), neither in language nor in concept, yet still manages to capture people this much, show the skills of a great writer. Thank you.

Very good. It also addresses the theory expounded by GDL in interviews that they had been f-ing each other, which is equally as valid as the POV that Ianto had merely been "teasing" Jack to get and keep the job before episode 4.

I really enjoyed reading this. It is well written and the wording makes it seem almost pretty. I would love to see this story continued and I love the idea of their relationship being based on comfort. It is a very beautiful way of percieving it.
