The subtext in the letters is very well done.

I sense hidden passion in these letters and hidden sorrow. They miss each other so much...tis sad.

That was an interesting twist with the baby. I liked this: The dark-haired, emaciated woman lay on his brother’s rather mildewed couch, a patched blanket covering her skinny frame. It was really descriptive. Anyway, that was another great chapter :).

Gosh that's sad. But everything will work out won't it? Poor Mina...poor thing needs someone. And Bella's with those people! OH it's so sad.

In the beginning of the chapter 3 it is stated April, 1945. At the end of the chapter you wrote that it's October. So which period is it - April or October?
