I really enjoyed how original this story was, and the hilarious pickup lines and phrases you added. I was sniggering the whole way through.

WEll i loved this story... but James was a seeker i have read the books countless times and in the first one it says that Harry is the second seeker of his family and tehre is the plaque in the movie saying he was a seeker... soo thats just my two sense and it was a really good sotry and ur right i couldnt see lily juts going and snogging james

This was GREAT! I was wondering who was chuckling on the grounds after everyone had gone in. It wasn't very clear. But, they say in book one that James was a seeker, are you sure he's a chaser?

At least someone's got it right. The movie people were just trying to make a link between Harry and his dad. Silly people, they've got all the fans confused.

This is a lovely story and I enjoyed it very much. I'm glad that they didn't kiss because you're completely right, the characterization would be off.
...I noticed that this is rated "M", I would drop it to "T" if I were you, there isn't much mature content in this. Just good old fluff. =)

I don't want to seem rude or anything, but I've read the series several times, and I could've sworn James Potter was a Seeker, like Harry. I could be wrong, of course, but I'm pretty sure he was a Seeker.

I agree with you, Lily wouldn't snog James right then and there... not in that situation and state of mind, anyway. But I found the sulking and aggressive tendencies a bit much. And James was maybe too much of a nice guy (seems like a few years of rejection have made him lose confidence in himself...)

But anyway, the pick-up lines? Brilliant! Made the entire story! Those and Sirius' dirty mind...

Your first A/N said that James is Chaser. I'm always confused about that one. What does it say in the book, do you know that? I know for a fact that in the movie James was a seeker (his name was on the trophy). He does have fast reflexes, why would he play with the snitch all the time. Anyway I really hope you can help me with this..

I almost died laughing when Peter slapped Sirius! It took me like 5 minutes to get a hold of myself enough to finish reading! That was, as the British would say "Bloody Brilliant!" I loved your story.
