I think you've got the characters down perfectly. I like their interactions together and apart. Because you write this on an emotional level rather than topical (not describing and re-describing Mamoru and Usagi over and over again to emphasize how cute/handsome they are like they're being reintroduced all the time, as I've seen in some fics) it's refreshing to have the focus on their actions. We all know they're cute/handsome already.

Excellent chapter. You can really see the conflict Mamoru is going through, caught between his feelings, duty, and his pain at what Usagi's going through.

I thought I reviewed last chapter. You update so quickly some times! I like how you portrayed Mamoru's pain in this chapter (not that I like him being in pain...), that its constantly there, but he's living with it and making plans for the future, still trying to bring Beryl down.

You really captured that first kiss well. So natural between them and not cliche. By this time I was so ready for them to kiss, and it was a sweet time for them to have each other, even briefly.
