Very cute story. I loved how Helena found the frustration in the romantic comedy and how it mirrored the lives of both her and Barbara. Yes, it it taking them a long time to figure things out and I loved how you demonstrated a piece of that in your short fic.

I especially loved these lines:
“I prefer to stuff my brain, thank you. Less chance of catching anything that might require medical attention.”

“I don’t know. You spend much more quality time with the Delphi and you might just pick up a virus. Do you really know where he’s been?”

“Of course. Delphi would never cheat on me. I created him. I control him. He is mine to do with as I please.” Two expressions twisted in distaste. “Too far?”

I could totally picture them saying this and the visual made me laugh as I read this. Good job - I hope to read more of your fics. Although this is the only one I've commented on, I have read "What It Means To Be A Hero" a couple of years ago and really enjoyed that one too. Keep writing! I'd love to read more :)
