This was such an automatic favourite. How could it not? I loved it, especially the ending. ^_^

I don't like the way you form your paragraphs, but that is a question of writing style, not grammatical error.

Ooh, this is wonderful! I love the way it's written, and both Fai and Kurogane are beautifully in-character. I am going to pretend that this actually happened, since we never did figure out EXACTLY what went on between these two during the whole Yasha-camp debacle. ;P

That was wonderful.
Descriptive and well written. You know a story is good when you completely forget what you're reading is someone's literary work, and just sink into the story.
Which I did.
I haven't read many indications that Fai had an accent, but now that I think about it, it would definitely make sense.

Both Kurogane and Fai remained delightfully in character. Especially Fai stretching out on the ground to do his own thing at the end - lonely yet content to go about his business as such is the Fai we all know. Since this isn't AU, you did well to keep Kuro's attitude toward Fai as that of a devoted friend - with subtle hints of confused feelings in there no doubt - and his panicked yet ninja-like sufficiency worked well.
Great story.
I'd very much appreciate if you wrote more.
