I'll just share my favorite parts:

"snapping a whip like the Nazi relic-hunters would be coming around the corner any minute"
possibly my favorite line from this chapter.

Teal'c addressing Shirogane before he could see him.

Daniel interpreting Akira's threats as 'good friend.'

Biting. *snorts*

Akira and Shirogane trading barbs as Akira saves his hide.

I love that you added the bit about 'combat, not fighting.'
And that Shirogane was there during the first human and Goa'uld war.

In the latest chapters I really see that kind of team work they're doing here. They really are counterparts even more than before, filling in each other's empty spaces as companions.

Daniel as Indiana Jones.. hilarious.

Oh my. Oh my. OH MY.

*does ecstatic dance of joy*

I just discovered Monochrome Factor this week... and never even hoped you would write it, and you already have... with Stargate, my all-time favorite cast of characters.

Though I suppose Daniel lends himself well to crossovers.

It's an interesting forecasting - passing on the rei inshi and keeping the shin. I'm looking forward to the rest!!

Interesting to see Lantash take a walk on the other side--that sounded like a typical Goa'uld Host experience. I wonder how long it'll take to schedule Martouf's execution--no Tok'ra will accept this situation, regardless of Martouf being blameless, the hypocrites.

Actually stumbled upon your fic one day from another author's list of favorite stories :P

This is one helluva crossover that I'd never imagine possible! And yet, you have presented us with an exciting story that fill in various plot holes as well. It's an intriguing concept with the whole background story, and how you've seamlessly combine the 2 to form a whole history :)

While Monochrome Factor may be AU here, it didn't stray much from its original, and the characters are pretty in-character too :) Though can't say Im familiar with Stargate (lost touch with it years ago)

But most importantly, you didn't let one of them overshadow the other :) Not to mention, a good fic without the need to put in any pairings, but touches the relation between each character nicely :)

Nice!

I have to say that this has become one of my favorite stories... But why did you have to addict me to a new fandom, why?

I am, however, grateful. Mostly because it reminded me of all the rest of your stories, and thanks to my broken foot I had time to reread them all constantly.

Thank you so much for keeping me sane, (and don't worry I can almost walk normally now.)

Absolutely Wonderful! It's hard to find well written Monochrome Factor stories that have more of a plot than just smut. I loved your explaination for Akira's Shin/Rei problem. All of your stories are so well thought out and the time and reseach you put into each one is evident.

First of all I will say that I plan on going back and leaving reviews for each chapter, but I have something to say about the overall fic first.

NO NO NO! You write this after Roll the Bones and expect to leave us hanging?! I have dreams of a Monochrome Factor/Yu-gi-oh/SG1 fic running through my mind now! Can you imagine Yami and Daniel translating together? Or Kaiba working with Jack on things that go boom? And I have images of Bakura, Teal'c and Sam getting along far too well for confort for some reason *chills down spine*.

Let's not get into Bakura and Akira. Bakura would be pestering Akira on how to shadow walk, and I can see all of the yamis wanting to learn the differences between the Shadows and the world of the shin. I can see Kaiba being an adept so very easily, especially after the way he started letting go with spells and egyptian threats in Roll the Bones.

I just know that Lulu would adore Yugi and Kaiba. Weirdly enough, I can see Ryou getting along well Aya and Kengo, and Jou falling into a mentorship with Shuichi, and hanging out with Kou. Besides with Tristan getting memories of the past in Whistling Past the Graveyard, he and Kou would be able to to spar with each other.

Please tell me that my little rant has inspired you even a smidge. It would be such an awesome triple crossover!

Now you've got me thinking that Thor did something to Jack's brain; implanted some Asgard knowledge while taking the Ancients away. And for some reason, the Asgards don't like shin; probably because for all their tech, they can't duplicate 'magic'.

I suppose being inshi might explain why Daniel keeps coming back from the dead. I like that Catherine's going to be around for awhile; the SGC could use her common sense.

Colorado Jackson, I love it!

How the HELL do you do it?

I wish I knew how you can take two fandoms that I would never in a million years put together, and not only make the story a fascinating and riveting read, but also faithful (sort of) to the actual fandoms themselves.

Oddly enough, I'd only started reading/watching Monochrome about two weeks before this was posted (apologies for late review - I keep forgetting to post them) so I didn't have to research up, which is a first for me and your crossovers.

Haven't actually said much about the fic itself, but simply put, one of the best things I've read on this site in MONTHS. Kudos.

Another great story from the queen of the crossovers. All hail Vathara!

Your writing is intelligent, logical, and always enchantingly engrossing. I only wish I'd read more of the MF manga before reading it, but from what I've read you keep Akira and company just as in character as the SGC crew.

Bravo.

Ah! I just realized I never reviewed this story- I'm so sorry! Needless to say, it was awesome. All I know of Monochrome Factor is what can be found with a quick search of wikipedia, but your story was very understandable & readable anyway. It's fun to see SG-1's brains break in new and interesting ways...

An excellent read, good plot, rather similar concepts to Upon A Fiery Steed but that’s hardly a bad thing.

The Indiana Jones outfit was a nice touch.

Ah...I want more. I read this when you first posted, found the Monochrome Factor part intriguing (never heard of it before) so I dug up both the manga and the anime and now that I've gotten through both I came back and re-read again. I think...I like your version better to be honest. It just makes a bit more sense in places, and it fills in a bunch of holes in the manga/anime. So yes, I really enjoyed this story. The blending between the two fandoms was almost seemless, which if you think about it is a little difficult with such opposite genre. The story itself was fascinating, it kept me reading even when I had no idea what Monochrome Factor was about.. There were one or two moments where I was left wondering--eh? But they were usually cleared up relatively soon.

I hope you write more Monochrome fanfiction... or even better, crossovers with other stuffs. I love your crossovers, ever since I stumbled on Blades of Blood...how long ago was it now? Eek. Other favorites would be the BtVS/Bleach series, and the RK/Starwars one.

Good luck with any future fics!

Katreal
