It is the most excellent [and completed] fic I've read with the pairing of Sho x Kyoko. Most with that pairing either involved acting in a drama where that love triangle would spring up captured with the camera, or another PV where Kyoko is the main star. Your fic is as good as an original.

Staying over in his apartment is pure genius. And you managed to rope in the matchmaker managers. Just brilliant! Oh, how I love the challenge and the people [Shouko and Yashiro] that are willing to take up that challenge. I wonder if this is a part of showbiz under wraps?

There is another Sho x Kyouko fic which I am much anticipating the next chapter, and that is the newly published 'Sho Business' on fanfiction. I read the good makings of a great plot.

Back to your story. I love your introspection of the characters. That said, I'm glad Sho and Kyouko did not end up together. They did share a moment of... er... poignancy in their actions. It is good that there are no kissing involved or I would've discounted it as a fleeting OOC. I suppose where the manga is at, the gears in my mind just cannot shift to seeing a kiss bewteen Kyouko and Sho. Sho has to prove himself more in the manga before I could accept that sort of affection in fanfiction, if you get what I mean.

Right now, that is a hauntingly beautiful future idea. I suppose I can accept a kiss scene if the fanfic has developed the plot and the characters very well, addressing and aligning itself [accurately] to the manga and the gaps that could be left for the authors to fill...

Ahem, I seem to be typing a lot of my opinions here. But I hope as a fellow Skip Beat fan, you wouldn't mind reading it ^^

If there is going to be a live drama, I'd like Ueno Juri to play Kyouko. But whoever takes up, whomever Director dares to, he's going to be met with all sorts of expectations, especially the ones at the high end.

Your fic has beautifully sewn together the events in the manga as well as the believability and the originality of your imagination.

i like how once again the idea surround valentine's day was focused on reino it was still overencompased by sho and ended with her somehow being able to by a box of chocolates with the last 30 yen (she better have used he own money too otherwise i have no idea how that was accomplished) to deliever it to sho.

oh yes, i forgot to mention in the last chapter how i liked that sho knew that shouko was trying to set the two up together.
now to this chapter.
i like how ren knew right away that kyouko was hiding something from him and was able to realize it had to do with sho.
and then sho appears and the rest of cast and staff watches on ^_^. ahh gossip, how enjoyable. //Ren was surprised at the casual way their hands brushed. Neither of them seemed to notice the close contact// nice observance. i liked the argument and how all the people butted in and all the facts and situations that were dropped into it finally coming to the conclusion that kyouko spent the night at sho's.

and then i loved how it panned out to the managers. to yashiro and how he was impressed with shouko manager by day, matchmaker by night ^_^ and i like how he in essence steped out of the situation to ask how it was done and how his interest went to shouko.

oh my god, i absolutely love this work. you so have to write more and i have to see if you had written other works.
once again sho being sweet when kyouko was unable to observe. amused at his reaction to the quality of the chocolates and gonig along with kyouko's thoughts on them. and i liked how he watched her in her sleep and her reactions as he pulled away and his thought of if he never moved away.
okay yes people being so scared of thunderstorms piss me off of how often it is used to bring a vulnerable moment to a character which i find absolutely childish. but i didn't mind so much here as she did not leave her bed and no one actually did come in. i like how it brought in the rememberance of how thins were and once again a revert to childhood. and i like how unconciously she was still expecting sho to rescue her but was lulled back with the smell of him on his sheets.
and then they went back to her place and reino was waiting there and then his reaction to the chocolates. how full of sho they were and his thoughts on the matter and then his and sho's scene together.

yup there goes kyouko, unable to believe the sincerity of sho's advice and offer and instead being suspicious of it and trying to find his motivations and coming to that conclusion.
i liked seeing shouko and sho watching dark moon. I liked all of sho's comentary on the makeup and dress department. and then how absorbed the two got into the sho that when kyouko came into the room they were so startled. and then kyouko saying mio's lines in unison. teehe.
and then sho's reaction and answer and kyouko finally believing him since he knows him and his abilities in such a situation. and then how the three go back to their tasks.

oh my that chapter was so sweet.
yes how does sho eat now? though i would think since he barely visited home near the end that he'd eat as he did then. but i like her attention to what of the food would and would not be for him.

once again shouko. liked how she observed kyouko's skill's in the kitchen. makes me think that kyouko should get a role as a chef in a show to show it off, they are popular enough. and then i really liked how she then observed sho in the other room and what and how he was playing his guitar in accordance to kyouko cooking there.

and sho, i absolutely adored him. //He could remember when he had been standing in the doorway, watching as she bustled around the kitchen, seemingly no more special than any of the other employees at his parent’s inn, when he had realized that maybe marrying her someday wasn’t such a horrible thing after all.// ^_^
i like the detail of him watching her cook so often as it was the only time she wouldn't notice him being there with him. i really like that detail of their relationship- how much he actually did observe her and take notice of her when she didn't realize how much he did do. and then his reaction of getting to experience it again.
i liked kyouko's opinion of a cook of her food as a opposed to shouko eating it.

and then sho's commentary on kyouko's career. ^_^ what she has done, the public reaction, what she should do in the future and what to avoid. and then his own internal thoughts on the matter and her need for independance and who is she depending on now. not to mention his comment on needing to hold her hand til she reached the top. ^_^ so so sweet and cute. and then the piece de resistance: “And if you ever get so worried about your career, I’ll let you be in a PV again. As a leading role, if you want.” *_* i absolutely loved it, i'm all sparkly eyed.

i really like how slow this fic is going. i like all the attention to the details of "little" events. just the simple act of waiting in the car and all the tell signs there. i like how shouko keeps trying to get info on kyoko. and i liked sho's thoughts on moko.

oh, im really liking this fic. i like everyone's observances of each other particuliarly that of shouko. i also really liked how in the end sho got kyouko to eat something even though she is the one cooking it.

It's so funny how ren and sho's managers become 'imaginative' when it comes to their stars and kyouko. Especially, Shouko in this fic.
I also love how things went with Sho and Kyouko here. I'm a ShoxKyouko fan but, just like you, I'm okay with RenxKyouko. It's predictable in the manga anyway.
Reino is a character I was never really able to understand. =( But, I found your epilogue quite funny. I wonder how he'll be torturing Kyouko in the future. XD. It's fun getting to see Ren and Sho getting worked up on this Reino issue.
So there. When, I finished your multichapter and ended up hoping you didn't end it just there. I mean, I didn't get to know what you think about the gift Kyouko would be giving Ren for his birthday and as for the chocolates for Ren... aww. Poor, poor Ren. I really can't wait for chap 143! I heard it'll be out on Jul 13. I'm wondering when it'll be out in english scanlations.
