Fun premise, but there’s something about the dialog in this fic that makes it hard to read.

2009-09-10 . chapter 17
Aside from a few rather egregious spelling/grammar errors this chapter is another good offering. Glad to see you’re still with us.

While reading this part of me, the whimsical part, imagined Kuno coming back from jail to a mansion crawling with Kodachi clones and freaking out. The more realistic/cynical part of me, however, has the creeping suspicion that after Ranma and Mao raid the lab these four might be the only remaining specimens of “Mistress’” brood.

I like how each of the clones has their own quirks which can be traced back to their creator. Nimu has target fixation, Sanya the arrogance and need to demonstrate her superiority (plus the laugh) and Yonjuu has the haughtiness. They have surpassed my expectations and I look forward to seeing what will become of them.

If it is not too bold I hope to someday see fanart for this fic. It would be interesting to get a good look at these characters and I admit to wondering at how Eija and Naiki compare to Yonjuu.

Knowing something of Greek mythology it amused me to see Deimosu, who has vowed to kill his father, emulating his actions in going amongst the common folk and dispensing justice upon the wicked he encounters. Though it was equally nice to see the clones doing similarly.

I had suspected Yaku of being a Whispered ever since I saw her with the computer, nice to know I still have it. I look forward to her proving her worth to Deimosu in his quest. Heh, his trip has really become “Have Kuno, Will Travel” (one can just imagine what Ranma will say to him when she finds out). The fight with the girls was very well done, especially after the buildup. It let the girls shine nicely before showing how outclassed they are. Though I do wonder why Sanya gets such air, perhaps there is more to her strength than mere brute might? Also I wonder what she and Nimu will do now? Perhaps they might find Deimosu’s gear and try and track leads that way or maybe they could gain access to other sources?

Given there were fireworks I assume that this was at night, hence it is unlikely Deimosu, Yaku and Yonjuu teleported to the other side of the Earth, though they could be underground. Based on the wall, darkness and the scream part of me wonders if he accidentally teleported them to North Korea? Personally I hope Yonjuu stays stuck with them for awhile, especially if they are in another country.

Thanks for the fic. I look forward with great eagerness to the next installment.

It's good to see more of this.
I see each part of 'Rest and Relaxation' focuses on different characters, which works well in giving us semi-concurrent ideas of what's going on.
The maniacal laughter and use of rings and ropes makes one think "Mother" is Kodachi. Even if this isn't true (but especially if it is) I compliment you on working in an explanation of WHY the genetically engineered girls aren't well trained into your story fluidly. Also, nice lampshade-hanging with Sanya's thoughts on wilderness and peaks.
Speaking of Sanya is she bizarrely lacking in weight, since every strike sends her moving easier than it should?
Evidence mounts Deimosu is going to be using 'human power' as I first suspected back when Hecate dismissed it, now that he has a Whispered volunteer, though he may be pressed on materials unless he's landed somewhere convenient.
Minor detail: You didn't capitalize "here's" in "here's your prize." and you should.
Last chapter: Good characterization not only of Skuld but of how other people view her.
Nice work explaining why Sanzenin was ignoring Mizuki. The bit with her stalking him was hilarious, probably because he's usually the one bothering girls so it made a nice inversion.
Hm... What with Naiki using demonic power during the race, I suppose Ranma could always explain Mara as her black magic teacher, if people keep pressing. It'd explain the disapproval, though I suppose that's not the kind of thing one brings up before one knows how the other party is liable to react.
The race interval was also funny, especially after Tessa started 'talking' to Naiki. Since Pishogue is stronger than (or at least different from, though I think a better developed network makes it still stronger for now) Chi in some respects is Naiki still having to adjust to different physical capabilities (putting more power or even speed into things than she meant to) or did she finish that in Nifelheim?
That also begs the question of what kind of 'rank' she has and if she needs limiters, though I suspect she's still at the low end because of her newness and lack of commitment.

Now hopefully next chapter we'll get that talk between Kaname and Eija mentioned back in fifteen.

Nice, but I think I'm missing something because I don't speak or read japanese. Are the names of the girls signifigant? Thanks for the update.

Another great chapter. I am glad to read your work again.

I like how Minkado Sanzenin was effectively neutralized in battle by Mizuki's clinginess. Certainly a ironic justice in action. Very poetic considering the offront paid to a half-Japanese/half-Greek goddess and a Norse goddess. Similarly I like how Keichi did well as acount to good design and luck but eventually fell to Sousuke's superior tactics and the limited construction time and resources available to Whirlwind. Considering the skill they showed, something that Sousuke will undoubtably report on, it might be interesting to see if Mithral contacts them on custom or prototype designs later on.

Personally I would eventually like to see a more developed version of the Sicorro equiped with a miniturized lambda driver.

The way you have seemlessly intagrated these three serieses (seri?) together is great. Eija has intrgrated into Kaname and Sousuke's circle delightfully and the mind-link and its apparent side-effects has been really cool.

The Martial Arts Takeout Race was very nice as well. Naiki's first attempt to manipulate her realm was quiet well done as a first attempt. I look forward to how her demonic training will go. Also it was nice to see that her work was both subtle...ish and non-lethal. If you take a more chaotic view of demons then this is also a fine example of teaching, letting the student figure out the answers themselves. Personally I would like a little more clarification on how black magic works for demons, which spells cost favors and which spells (if any don't). This would be esspecially interesting in conjunction with the god's white magic. I wonder if some of their spells cost boons or not?

The line about forbidden techniques comming out in the event of war was great. It also makes perfect sense.

Loved how Ranma handled the Tsubaki elders. Also it is nice to see her get to reistablish ties with Ukyo and Konatsu. Wonder if it is getting to be time to tell the former NWC what happened to her all those years ago? It was also very nice to see her involving Issei and Kouta in Naiki's training. In fact that is something I was hoping to see happen, each of the three Satomi children forming their own circles and having their own stories.

One of the things I like about Naiki is how much growth she still has ahead of her. I can see a glimps of the demoness she could become and am eager to see how she developes. As a result of reading this I have been watching Shark Week on the Discovery channel and it has been a good way to imagine the warrior Naiki could become. Hopfully her time with Kouta and Issei will allow each of them to improve. Heh almost makes me wonder if any demons are in the area that might involve themselves in her development/life.

Of course before all of that it seems that Naiki and Kouta have more important business, beating Kurumi into the ground.

Thanks for the chapter, I will be looking forward to the next chapter.

2009-08-07 . chapter 16
The mini AS was wonderful, and I love it that Sanzenin is getting his just punishment. It the original story too many get away with too much for too long.

One ki enhanced kick to his privates and Kuno would have learned his lesson, balls crushed beyond repair, pelvic bone broken, his "sword" smashed. True perverts should be forcibly sterilized that way. Ranma played too nice with all the NWC.

The way you blend all the series together is great. Belldany's reaction to Sanzenin is just right. Too bad he did not hit on Urd, she might have gelded him. Now would that get her a punishment or a reward or both?

Oh My Goddess is a wonderfull story but seems to be made for little kids in some ways. How often do Bell and Keiichi ever kiss? Ranma has load of great ideas but goes nowhere as a story, nothing is ever resolved. Ranma fanfiction is actually better than the real thing too me. That is sad in a way.

Thanks for the update.

Very interesting chapter, will the next chapter deal Ranma being able to change back into a male and what come's with being both male and female again. How this affect Ranma's job? Will Ranma be able to track down her away with out leave son and the mess that he got himself into or that fact that the newest threat I a grown up shampoo?

2009-07-27 . chapter 15
I get the feeling that Ranma now is going to be putting a hurt on Diemosu's persures in country? That will be fun and if she can do something to throw a spanner in Hectate's plans... well you know what they say about payback.

Speaking of Deimosu and Yaku Go the bit with her learning the computer was great. I get the feeling she was whoop'n ** on a Starcraft LAN. Hopefully she will demonstrate the same rapid learning curve for martial arts so that Deimosu can be forced to keep her with him because I think she may be Whispered. If so then, assming she can get the proper insperation (like watching a broadcast of the Sicorro in action) and a little luck or experiance then she might beble to produce a lambda-driver equiped exo-skeleton or power armor that Deimosu could use on his quest.

The bit with Mousse being Tsubaki's father was good and I love how she handled evicting the Karate Club. It was classic Nerimain martial artist and good tactical sense. Seeing her compete in the martial arts takeout competition should be fun, esspecially if the competition is stiff enough to warrent use of her demonic powers or if it outs her and her mother to her maternal grandparents. That would be made all the sweeterif Eija and her friends are watching too.

Assuming some travel time will be involved Ranma will be out of the house for awhile. If this dosn't warrent a full party then the girls should at least have a slumber party there or something, possibly after finally forefilling the Akehabira trip they had planed.

I have been enjoying how you have portrayed Kaname's difficulty in juggling the various wierdnesses that have become part of her daily life. Add to that the latest developement with her threesome daydream (which was great in presantation by te way) and there is much meat to work out. Also I think that having Mizuki (who seems to have alienated just about everyone in her circle) and her reaction to Eija is a nice reminder of the small oddities that we started off with.

I have liked Eijaever since you blew her up in chapter two (and maybe a bit before that) and look forward to seeing what she can do. I must wonder if the possibility of some psychic predator Kaname worried about becoming might give her that chance. Aso I wonder if Kiyoko will ever be due for a wish? It might be cool if Eija got to do it.

Thanks for the fic. I am glad to see you back writing. Looking forward to how this ride will go.

2009-07-26 . chapter 15
This remains entertaining, mixing action and humor well ("No, Hell is a nice place. This is terrible" was quite funny for example). The characters remain true, like Kaname still having difficulty mixing her 'normal' friends with the new aspects of her life (and being embarrassed even when the new people haven't really done anything yet).
Seeing your future interpretations of the Ranma 1/2 cast also remains interesting (and if Mousse is the father of the Karate group's leader it explains why they were able to push Naiki so hard earlier).
Seeing my theories on Hild borne out last chapter was fun. Your implications about Urd's personality are fitting, since that would put her in the same category as Misato from Evangelion, Anko from Naruto, and similar characters who push hard to 'have fun' because they've endured bad things and there are already some personality similarities.
Mizuki seems to be edging towards getting herself pushed out of the group what with wanting revenge from Kaname and calling Eija creepy in front of her (which Kyoko wouldn't necessarily understand as she seems pretty much immune to that aura), while having already alienated Sousuke.
A couple minor errors, you wrote 'non-pulsed' when you meant 'nonplussed' and 'ignroe' for 'ignore' in this chapter.

This is nice, while I enjoyed the battle in chapter 11, character development and interpersonal relationships make a story.

"Oh no," Issei said. "This is hell."

"No, Hell is a nice place," Naiki said. "This is terrible."

That was funny! Great! and I love one-liners like it. The James Bond movies have lots of one-liners. They are worth watching for those alone.

Are the amazons still after Ranma? I can just imagine Ranma introducing them to Persephone.

Thanks for the update and please keep writing.
