Everything settled, the end of Threads was simply meant to end it all - happily, maybe with a touch, a kiss, something... Okay, Jacob didn't have to die but well... we can't have everything...

I loved this. It was amazingly well written and poignant and just real. I could feel what she was feeling, that indecision, that pressure to be happy. When I can literally feel the stress she feels, I know I've found something good. Great job.

I just read your other story and figured I might as well fish around some more. I had to dig in to this one because I had issues with Threads too, which surprised me because it was one episode I was looking really forward to. I always heard it brought up by shippers and then I saw it the other night and found myself thinking, "What, this is it?" The big Sam/Jack episode left me feeling a tad underwhelmed honestly. I actually liked most of it and I loved the scenes of other people talking to Sam and Jack about their relationship, but the interaction between the two of them personally was kind of lacking. But before I get all rambling again, your fix-it ... well, fixed it. So it's my personal canon now, thanks :D Off to read some more! (It's great to see you're still writing for the fandom!)

This was so fantastic! I wish Threads had actually gone down like this. You really brought out the tension that was missing. I loved the scene in the kitchen, even though the whole time I was just dreading Kerry turning up. And the end scene has a nice sense of promise and resolution )
